Australians are more willing to invest in

Changing demands for working and cooking from home continue to impact the renovation industry. A recent survey shows that Sydney residents invest an average of AU$25,000 to AU$50,000 in functional space improvements, with kitchens and storage systems accounting for over 40% of this spending.

Changes in consumer behavior:

Multifunctional space design: Open kitchens and retractable islands are popular, meeting the needs of cooking, working, and socializing. In some cases, designers are combining cabinets with folding dining tables to maximize the use of small apartments.

Durability priority: Consumers prioritize material resistance and cleanability. For example, quartz countertops, due to their strong stain resistance, have replaced marble as the preferred choice for mid- to high-end projects.

Localized service advantage: Compared to international brands, Sunway Home's local presence earns trust through its rapid response and after-sales service. One customer commented, "I contacted the supplier about a plumbing issue, and they sent a dedicated person to address it the next day. This level of efficiency is unmatched by multinational companies."

Industry forecast: Economists believe that while rising interest rates may dampen some consumption, essential renovations (such as retrofitting old electrical wiring and waterproofing) will continue to grow steadily. In addition, the demand for "aging-friendly renovation" among retired people may become the next hot spot.
